Job description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive CRM Performance Consultant to help dealership clients optimize their CRM systems, improve lead management processes, increase accountability, and drive measurable sales results.
This is not an administrative CRM role. We are looking for a strategic automotive professional who can audit dealership operations, identify performance gaps, implement best practices, train teams, and help clients maximize their CRM investment.
What You'll DoCRM Audits & Performance Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive CRM audits for dealership clients
- Evaluate lead response times, follow-up processes, task completion rates, appointment ratios, and CRM utilization
- Identify breakdowns in lead handling, customer engagement, and sales processes
- Analyze dealership performance data and provide actionable recommendations
CRM Implementation & Optimization
- Configure and optimize CRM workflows, action plans, templates, and automation
- Implement industry best practices for lead management and customer follow-up
- Ensure CRM processes align with dealership sales and BDC objectives
- Support CRM launches, reconfigurations, and process improvements
Training & Consulting
- Train dealership sales teams, BDC teams, managers, and leadership on CRM best practices
- Conduct virtual and in-person consulting sessions
- Provide ongoing coaching and accountability to dealership clients
- Present findings, recommendations, and performance improvement strategies to Dealer Principals, General Managers, GSMs, Internet Directors, and BDC Managers
Client Success
- Serve as a trusted advisor to dealership clients
- Help clients improve appointment-setting performance, customer engagement, and sales results
- Monitor implementation progress and ensure long-term success
- Build strong relationships that drive client satisfaction and retention, * Improve lead response times
- Increase appointment-setting percentages
- Improve appointment show rates
- Increase CRM accountability
- Strengthen customer follow-up processes
- Improve lead-to-sale conversion rates
- Maximize the return on their CRM investment

Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales training?, * Automotive dealership experience
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead management, and dealership operations
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- VinSolutions
- Elead
- Tekion
- DriveCentric
- DealerSocket
- ProMax
- CDK CRM
- Similar automotive CRM platforms
- Strong communication, presentation, and training skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
Preferred
- Former Internet Director
- BDC Director or BDC Manager
- CRM Manager
- Automotive Consultant
- Sales Manager, GSM, or General Manager with strong CRM experience
- Multi-rooftop or group dealership experience
- CRM setup, implementation, or training experience
- Experience presenting to dealership leadership teams
