Job description
- Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
- Installs troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
- Provide personal computer, hardware, and software support.
- Install, service, and repair personal computers and install attendant software.
- Connect personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
- Maintain network diagrams and circuit records.
- Maintain trouble logs.
- Instruct users in the use of personal computers and networks.
- Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 0 years of experience.
- The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
- The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a special access programs (SAP) clearance as a condition of continued employment.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT level II baseline certification (example: Security+ CE), or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of start date; the required certification must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
- Experience with Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop OS, Office Product Suite, * BS degree in relevant discipline.
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
- Current Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSE or MCSA).
- Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, Visio, and PowerShell.
- Experience with zero and/or thin client devices.
- Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts.
- Cross-platform experience (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.).
- Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory administration, and LAN/WAN networking.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
Benefits & conditions
Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
