Job description

We are seeking a Capture Operations Support Engineer to support complex R&D capture systems and data collection environments. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting lab operations, maintaining automation scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful data collection and research activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hardware troubleshooting, including cameras, networking equipment, and PDUs.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting data collection operations, research labs, or capture environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting Linux, Windows, and macOS systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Bash and/or Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and routing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience performing root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills., * Experience supporting AV systems, cameras, lighting, audio equipment, or optical capture systems.
  • Experience with VR hardware and capture-stage environments.
  • Familiarity with research operations, user studies, or data collection workflows.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
