Job description
- Works directly with programs to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules
- Oversees system design, integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support program performance
- Performs a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
- Determines approaches to solutions
- Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects
- Represents the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues
Requirements
- Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- 3+ years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements
- 3+ years of experience in integrating hardware and software components into a functional system
- 3+ years of experience working within multi-disciplined teams to resolve business impacting computing issues
- Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience with standardized Network Protocols and Services (i.e. Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol (IP), Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Firewalls, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience in architecture, designing, and implementing a DevOps infrastructure
- 1+ years of experience working with Virtual Systems (i.e. VMWare) design and implementation
- 1+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL Database Administrator (DBA)
- Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) applications and frameworks, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee., This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Summary pay range: $102,850 - $139,150
