Job description

The Systems Security Analyst is responsible for managing and governing user access across enterprise systems to ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and least-privilege access principles. This role supports the full identity and access management lifecycle, including user provisioning, access reviews, role governance, audit support, segregation of duties analysis, and access-related troubleshooting. The position works closely with business stakeholders, auditors, and technology teams to maintain secure, efficient, and compliant access controls across the organization., * Manage the full user access lifecycle, including account creation, access modifications, role changes, and timely deprovisioning of user accounts.

  • Administer role-based access control (RBAC) models to ensure permissions align with business responsibilities and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and data owners to analyze, document, and maintain user roles and access requirements.
  • Conduct periodic User Access Reviews (UARs) and access certification campaigns to validate and recertify user permissions.
  • Generate reports and collect formal approvals to support compliance and governance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing access control documentation, system logs, and audit evidence.
  • Monitor and identify Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts and implement corrective actions to mitigate security and compliance risks.
  • Investigate and resolve access-related issues, authentication failures, and permission discrepancies across enterprise systems.
  • Ensure adherence to internal security policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of access management processes, controls, and procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve identity governance processes and strengthen security controls.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to access management, compliance, and security operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), user provisioning, and access governance processes.
  • Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles and least-privilege security models.
  • Experience conducting User Access Reviews (UARs), access certifications, and compliance assessments.
  • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls and risk management practices.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits, including audit evidence collection and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze user access requirements and align permissions with business functions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to authentication, authorization, and access management issues.
  • Familiarity with security policies, regulatory compliance frameworks, and governance standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with enterprise security, identity management, and reporting tools.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Work Experience

  • Experience in systems security, identity and access management, information security, compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting access governance, audit readiness, and security compliance initiatives preferred
