Senior Software Engineer at Data Analysis Incorporated - US Remote, MA, US

As a member of the Technology Services Team, the Artificial Engineer/Software Engineer Level II will participate in the design and development of sophisticated AI based Applications and features, AI augmented Data management systems, Algorithmic trade platforms and customer facing web/mobile products. This person will implement these processes, use AI platforms, setup related AWS infrastructure and maintain smooth operations by monitoring and troubleshooting the processes in close coordination with onsite and offshore teammates. Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop Systems including operational requirements and infrastructure setup in an Agile software development paradigm
• Quickly research, investigate and learn new technologies and produce proof of concepts, specially using AI related APIs, tools and platforms, AWS services and Open-Source technologies.
• Work on high priority production support issues, troubleshoot and formulate solutions for those issues in a time sensitive manner.
• Develop processes to make Operations more manageable and robust, including code refactoring and tuning performance.
• Analyze existing systems and create technical documentation.

• 5+ years of solid hands-on software development experience, including system installation and production support
• Proven strength in coding foundations specially in OOPS, Pythonand Application development
• Deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence methodologies, Hands on experience of AI related APIs, tools, and platforms specially using Open AI solutions. Expertise in Prompt Engineering is a must.
• Must have strong experience in LangChainframeworks, Chatbot development using Agent/Tools and RAG Applications
• Must have hands onVector database experience. Pinecone Vector database experience is preferred
• Thorough understanding of AWS technologies, Web site development, data management including ETL development, and data security is required
• Must be quick to learn and implement new technology stacks as needed
• Must be quick to jump into issues and rapidly resolve those with minimal guidance
• Prior experience in financial industry/quantitative technical analysis will be a plus
• Experience with Front End technologies (React), preferred
• Experience with SQL is preferred

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
