Job description
We are seeking a highly skilledSoftware Architect & Tech Analyst to provide project support with technical decisions with the current application technology stack, make recommendations, and advice on modernizing the application. This role requires a strong background inJava development, Oracle databases, Linux operating system, Azure, and AI-assisted development tools to optimize and enhance GOTS applications. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining, modernizing, and streamlining GOTS applications within federal agency environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing applications usingJavain enterprise-level environments
- 2+ years of experience with Agile frameworks
- 1+ years of experience as a team lead of a full-stack software development team
- Experience developing APIs and back-end services to support secure data transactions
- Experience integrating AI tools to accelerate development processes
- Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
You Have:
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS for scalability within government or VA Enterprise Cloud environments
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs data engineering, cloud operations, or data science projects
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and modern application responsiveness

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
