Job description
Primary function will be to support end-users with a wide range of IT-related hardware and software issues as well as installing and maintaining the following at small/medium business clients in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas:
-Windows desktops and laptops, file servers, NAS appliances, printers
-Network infrastructure equipment (routers, switches, AP's)
-Network Cabling (run ethernet cables, terminate wires RJ45/keystone jacks, rack installation)
-VoIP phones (installation, maintenance)
-Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, etc)
-Security cameras (installation, maintenance)
Work will be performed from the office as well as on-site at the clients' offices. Must be flexible and able to easily adjust to scheduling changes.
Secondary (but equally important) function will be to install and maintain cable infrastructure for customers. This includes installing and terminating ethernet cables, network rack installations, mounting TV's, WiFi AP's, as well as security cameras in difficult to reach places. Individual must be comfortable climbing ladders and crawling through attic spaces.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Network support?, Looking for a unique individual who is both personable and a problem solver! Sharp, dependable, teachable, detail oriented, able to work independently but as a part of a team effort, and most importantly, a heart to serve. Reliable transportation with adequate insurance is required. Previous work experience is required. This is not a position for entry level. This is not a work from home position. Salary dependent upon experience. ($47,000 - $65,000) Opportunity for bonuses.
