Job description

Peraton is seeking a skilled Junior Full Stack Software Developer to design and build a dynamic, web-based application in Angular, Java, and PostgreSQL., * Design, test, and develop well-structured, efficient, and testable web-based software using Java Angular, Postgres and related technologies.

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional applications, ensuring reliability through ongoing maintenance, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers and technical teams to translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories for both functional and non-functional needs.
  • Support Agile teams in backlog planning, work item refinement, and story point estimation.
  • Apply industry-standard design patterns and best practices to software solutions.
  • Implement secure coding standards to safeguard applications and data.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests to support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree. OR minimum 4 years in lieu of the Bachelors degree.
  • Experience with using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps deployments.
  • Experience with Object Oriented language
  • Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL database technologies.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.

Benefits & conditions

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
