Job description
- Active Directory & Microsoft Server Security
- Maintain client's Active Directory and server environment
- Ensure security is the top priority
- Follow Best Practices and Change Control
- Automation
- Automate tasks to manage growing complexity
- Apply DevOps approach for integration of Windows and Unix/Linux servers
- Microsoft Windows Operating System
- Manage full lifecycle of Windows Servers (build, patch, retire)
- Work with Linux servers for automated deployments and scripting
- Key Infrastructure Services/Skillsets
- Strong knowledge of VMWare management
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2022, 2025 (Red Hat Linux optional)
- Infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Advanced PowerShell/PowerCLI for AD, Windows, VMWare
- Familiarity with container solutions (Podman, Kubernetes)
- Cloud solution providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) preferred
- Identity Management (Active Directory, SAML, ADFS, OAUTH)
- Enterprise monitoring/reporting tools (Splunk, Zabbix)
- Compliance with ITIL, SAS115, HIPAA, PCI requirements
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises
- Write custom scripts and create Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Perform system patching and hardware maintenance
- Storage management technologies knowledge
- Design enterprise Active Directory environments (global/group policies, OUs, delegated authority)
- Scripting/coding for modular, reusable infrastructure code
- Automation tools (Packer, Jenkins) for virtual server automation
- Source code control (GitHub, CI/CD processes)
- Manage server antivirus solutions
- Knowledge of Windows/MS SQL clustering
- Provide off-hours support and participate in on-call rotation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills

- Current Microsoft Active Directory and MS Windows Server Certifications

- Domain upgrade/migration from 2019 to 2020
- Strong expertise in Active Directory (AD)
- 5 years of domain experience
- AD is critical to the environment
