From our Barcelona location, you will be integrated into an international team that collaborates to achieve these goals.QA Engineer - Cloud ApplicationsDuties and ResponsibilitiesYou define and perform software tests of various cloud services - accompanying projects from conception to launchYou are responsible for managing test infrastructure and executionYou discover and formulate test specifications based on product requirements as well as on normative and regulatory requirementsYou perform systematic testing as well as load and penetration testingDevelop methods and tools for structured and efficient testing - including test automationWrite test plans and test reports as part of the technical documentationYou work in an interdisciplinary project team that implements the project using SCRUMYou take

broad responsibility for the verification and validation process and significantly contribute to the progress of projects.Data Quality & ValidationYou design, execute, and maintain data quality tests across the data lifecycle (ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption).You validate data pipelines, ensuring correctness, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of datasets used in analytics and reporting.You define data quality metrics, monitoring, and alerting in collaboration with data engineers and product teams.Data Platform & Engineering CollaborationYou work hands-on within data engineering environments to test data products, not just application UIs.You collaborate closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and platform teams following Data Ops principles.You review data models, transformations, and schemas to ensure testability and robustness.Cloud & Tooling (Data-Focused)Experience testing data platforms built on Azure, including services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse, or equivalent.Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark) for validating transformations, pipelines, and data logic.Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code testing.Regulated Data EnvironmentsYou ensure traceability between data requirements, transformations, and validation results in regulated environments.You support compliance with healthcare and data-related regulations (e.g. MDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, data integrity principles).You have a strong technical background with cloud solutionsYou have experience in statistical methods and tools for verificationKnowledge of risk management for medical devices is a plusYou are passionate about testingYou set high standards for quality at the same time enjoy finishing tasks on timeYou are a hands-on doer, a self-starter, a strong team player and a continuous learnerFluent in English, fluent in Spanish or German would be a plusEnthusiasm for high-tech medical products rounds up your profileYou are proactive, results-oriented personality with strong problem-solving skillsYour work ethic is collaborative; you thrive in multidisciplinary teams as well as virtual environments while fostering mutual supportYou are self-motivated with a hands-on mentalityYou possess a passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and growYou stay productive and capable of acting even in critical situationsWhat We Offer Join a company that combines the innovation and agility of a start-up with the stability and global reach of a healthcare leader.
