Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, Strong API & Integration Engineering
- Proven experience building APIs and integrations in Azure using C#/.NET
- Hands-on with Azure services (API Management, Service Bus, Functions, Event Hub)
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging patterns
- Strong understanding of REST API design, security (OAuth2/JWT), and versioning
- Knowledge of integration resilience (retry, error handling, fault tolerance)
Technical Design & Leadership
- Able to design scalable, resilient integration solutions
- Comfortable making technical decisions and contributing to standards and best practices
- Experience reviewing code and supporting other engineers
Engineering Quality & Delivery
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring (e.g. Application Insights)
- Understanding of modern development practices and reliable release approaches
- Familiarity with containers and infrastructure-as-code is beneficial
Collaboration & Communication
- Strong communicator, able to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring or supporting others
- Comfortable working in Agile environments

You'll join our Integration team, working as part of a collaborative engineering community delivering secure, scalable solutions across savings, mortgages, and member platforms.
The team builds APIs, messaging, and event-driven integrations connecting core systems with internal teams and third parties. You'll work closely with Product, Architecture, and DevSecOps with real opportunity to influence design and approach.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused team where engineers take ownership and support each other through collaboration and mentoring.

What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build, and deliver API and integration solutions on Azure
- Take ownership of solutions across the full lifecycle - from design to production support
- Develop event-driven integrations using the right patterns (APIs, messaging, streaming)
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and reliable with strong monitoring and observability
- Contribute to API standards, integration patterns, and engineering best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines and drive quality through testing and automation
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and platform teams to shape solutions
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture Continuously improve team practices, tools, and ways of working
