Job description
Below is the list of the essential duties for QA Engineer (6-8 years of software QA experience):
- Understand suite of applications that are supported in Product and Software
- Manage user stories, test cases, test execution, defects, and resolutions in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Develop & extend test automation frameworks for UI, Microservices, Databases & API using various automation tools like Katalon, Ready API, etc.,
- Develops and maintains the automated UI and API test cases.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies.
- Analyze project requests to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
- Develop detailed technical test cases for various types of interfaces including SOAP and Database level procedures (inclusive of complex data validation).
- Collaborate with BSA, SMEs, Functional QA Engineers, Development teams, and Support teams to understand how new features should be tested and contribute to automated tests for these new features.
- Works closely with lead/supervisor and other team members to deliver Quality QA artifacts on time.
- Document defects and collaborate with the development team on managing test results and feedback to developers.

- Knowledgeable of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Requirements
Most important are Web Service/API testing, UI testing, System Integration Testing, and Automation experience. Large project - must be able to work under pressure, work with multiple teams, and get up to speed quickly.
