Job description

As a WordPress Web Developer at LPI, Inc., you will work alongside our Marketing team to maintain and develop current sites, new sites, and new products. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our WordPress websites, ensuring they are highly functional, user-friendly, and search engine optimized. This role requires proficiency in various web development technologies and tools, as well as a keen understanding of the retail/eCommerce environment and customer experience., * Manage and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and availability.

  • Implement WordPress optimization techniques to improve site speed and performance.
  • Customize and configure WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions. Must have experience using WooCommerce; managing numerous plug-ins and optimizations for WooCommerce.
  • Conduct SEO optimization to enhance search engine rankings and visibility.
  • Both Front-End and Back-End WordPress Development experience required.
  • Implement and optimize customer journey mapping, SEO, and analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, GTM, and AvaTax (Avalara).
  • Utilize Javascript, MySQL or SQL, and other coding languages to create dynamic web pages and applications.
  • Design and code WordPress web pages using HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Manage web hosting and DNS configurations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Integrate and manage Salesforce for customer relationship management.
  • Develop and implement A/B tests to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align web development projects with business goals, improvements and marketing strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.

We are a fast-paced, detail-oriented company that values creativity and the ability to think outside the box. Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer journey and experience across our multiple eCommerce websites and physical store locations., * Minimum of 2 years WordPress administration experience.

  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce customization and management.
  • Proven experience with WordPress optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Significant experience with web hosting environments and server management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills.
  • MySQL/SQL
  • Strong understanding of SEO optimization practices.
  • Customer Journey Mapping

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Retail/ECommerce experience
  • Experience with Gravity Forms, WPEngine, DNS, PHP, and Elementor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to think outside the box and perform A/B testing
  • Understanding of multi-unit retail operations, quick turn times/fast pace, and customer experience/journey, * Bachelor's (Required), * Front-end development: 2 years (Required)
