Job description

Objective of Role: Individual will work in production support within Global Wealth and Investment Management line of business, focused on advisory and framework. Support Services include incident management (single user, branch outages, and infrastructure triage), coordination with problem management, constant knowledge building, identification implementation of process improvements, including but not limited to runbooks, monitoring, alerting, working with partner teams on process gaps, technology gaps, or stability concerns. Will be accountable for timely updates (including senior leadership) and restoration of all production application issues. Primary Skill: Windows/Linux Dedicated Compute, Windows Admin IIS, Splunk, Dynatrace, .net core, Ping Federate Secondary: ITIL Certified, BMC Remedy, Jira Experience: Minimum 8-10 years Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day application support for aligned applications by reviewing pertinent logging (including platforms with limited documentation)

  • Drive for root cause analysis to application outages and provide quick service restoration (including single user and branch issues)

  • Improve application stability and reduce errors present in the environment.

  • Work closely with technology infrastructure teams, development, and testing teams in supporting integrated/independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, server upgrades, etc.

  • Reduce Development escalation and ensure issues are resolved within the team.

  • Proactively monitor and manage the production environment.

  • Act as the point of escalation for the business and manage end-user client relationship.

  • Ability to support nights/weekends for on-call coverage, including monthly release-related events.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Splunk?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Microsoft Office, OneNote

  • Ability to troubleshoot network related issues using NetScout or other related tools.

  • Experience supporting .NET applications (familiar with Debugging, etc.)

  • Experience with MQ messaging, Working knowledge of FIX Protocol and connectivity.

  • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, Mainframe, and DB2

  • Windows Server management tools, Cluster server knowledge.

  • ITIL Certification, Qualifications : BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
