Job description

We are hiring two Senior Software Engineers to join a high-performing team supporting geospatial intelligence software development for a federal customer. You will design and build modern, full-stack applications in a classified environment in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a direct hire position with full benefits from day one., * Architect and develop complex, scalable web applications using React and Java

  • Build responsive, performant front-end interfaces for classified intelligence tools
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices in Java
  • Collaborate closely with program leads, systems engineers, and end users to deliver mission-aligned features
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems across the full stack
  • Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks in a fast-paced program environment

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with heavy, hands-on use of React and Java

  • Strong React expertise: component architecture, hooks, state management (Redux or similar), and performance optimization
  • Deep Java proficiency: Spring Boot, REST API development, and backend service design
  • Experience working in or delivering software for classified federal environments
  • Ability to work independently and own features end-to-end independently and through collaboration
  • Solid communication skills and comfort working directly with government customers (This aspect is HUGE for our company)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance - must be in place prior to start date

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with geospatial data, mapping libraries (Cesium, OpenLayers, MapboxGL), or imagery analysis tools
  • Familiarity with NGA, NRO, or IC program environments
  • Cloud experience with AWS GovCloud or similar FedRAMP environments
  • Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Full Stack CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance is required and must be in place prior to your first day. We cannot accept candidates who are in the adjudication process or who hold an inactive clearance. US Citizenship required.
