Job description
The IT Helpdesk Technician II will provide technical support to Tanner users by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to business laptops and software applications. This role will also assist with workflow and endpoint management using platforms like Microsoft Power Apps and Intune., * Respond to helpdesk tickets and user requests for technical assistance through various delivery methods.
- Assist with endpoint management using Microsoft Entra and Intune.
- Assist with management of workflows and automations in Microsoft Power Platform.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Document solutions and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system.
- Help resolve audiovisual system issues in conference rooms.
- Help ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Administration and management applications.
- Proficiency in problem research using the web and AI tools to locate accurate information to resolve issues.
- Ability to explain technical subjects to nontechnical employees.
Education and Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with formal education or certifications; however, substantial experience in the field will also be taken into account.
Experience with any of the following technologies will be given preference:
- Microsoft 365 applications: Intune, PowerApps, Flow, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc. Business software (e.g., Office Suite, ERP, File Transfer Portals, etc.)
- Windows 11 troubleshooting, * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times., * Do you understand that training will be held in our Salt Lake City office and can reliably commute there during the training period?
- What experience do you have in managing Microsoft 365 applications and accounts? For example, Entra and Intune?
- What experience do you have in troubleshooting Windows applications like MS Office error messages and Windows 11 configuration issues?
