Job description

  • Perform routing and switching configuration and troubleshooting across enterprise environments
  • Support device upgrades, refresh activities, and infrastructure changes
  • Assist with data center and site network infrastructure, including hardware installation and connectivity
  • Perform fiber and cable plant work, including patching, testing, and validation of connectivity
  • Support WAN and LAN connectivity across multiple sites
  • Execute network changes in accordance with RAI change control processes
  • Assist in maintaining and updating network documentation
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing infrastructure initiatives

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of network engineering experience in enterprise routing and switching environments, with a focus on implementation, operations, and infrastructure support.
  • CCNA certification preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco routers and switches.
  • Working knowledge of routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network connectivity issues.
  • Experience supporting data center and enterprise network infrastructure environments.
  • Understanding of network hardware installation, deployment, and connectivity requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber and copper cabling, including patch panels, SFPs, and physical layer troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting network upgrades, technology refreshes, and infrastructure implementation projects.
  • Ability to execute network changes and follow implementation plans within controlled production environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center)
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments
  • Exposure to data center switching architectures
  • BICSI Certification in data center design or technical installation

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
