Your responsibilities for this function : Within the IT organization, you are responsible for the availability, performance and security of Linux environments, while accelerating the industrialization of operations through scripting and automation. You play a key role in stabilizing services, reducing manual workload and supporting the evolution of the infrastructure.

  • Administer and enhance a fleet of Linux servers (e.g. Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar) in production environments.
  • Ensure proper functioning of core system services: user and group management, permissions, partitions, quotas, scheduled jobs (cron), etc.
  • Monitor performance indicators (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network) and anticipate capacity needs.
  • Plan and execute security patches, updates and upgrades, minimizing impact on production services.
  • Design, develop and maintain scripts
  • Industrialize the scripting ecosystem: version control (Git), coding standards, documentation and reuse of scripts.
  • Integrate scripts into automation and CI/CD toolchains such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalent.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, systems & networks or equivalent (Bachelor's/Master's level)
  • Solid professional experience (typically 3-5+ years) as a Linux systems administrator/engineer in production environments
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems: installation, configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Robust scripting skills
  • Automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.) and/or CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI…).
