About the Role As a System Engineer in this project environment, you will contribute to the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of complex aeronautical systems-particularly in the areas of connectivity, data platforms, and digital maintenance and monitoring systems. You will work following the V-Cycle, participate in requirements engineering, system specification, verification & validation, and collaborate closely within multinational teams. Key Responsibilities System Engineering Apply the V-Cycle / V-Model for system development. Perform requirements management: analysis, refinement, and traceability. Create and maintain system specifications, technical documentation, and interface descriptions. Conduct Verification & Validation (V&V) activities, including test definition, test execution support, and reporting. Ensure system compliance with internal standards, processes, and architecture guidelines. Investigate technical issues and contribute to corrective actions and system improvements. Technical Activities Collaborate on systems involving IT infrastructure, high-bandwidth connectivity, data acquisition, or monitoring platforms. Understand communication architectures, data flows, and relevant protocols. Participate in integration activities with hardware, infrastructure, and laboratory environments. Project Environment Work with engineering toolchains for requirements management, test definition, configuration control, and data analysis (e.g., DOORS, Google Workspace, or equivalent). Collaborate with technical leads, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams. Contribute to improving internal processes, documentation quality, and system maturity.

Requirements

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or related field. Experience in systems engineering, ideally in aeronautics or complex technical environments. Familiarity with requirements engineering and the V-Model. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, or telecommunications is highly valued. Understanding of communication protocols, data handling, or system architectures is a plus. Experience with large-scale engineering environments, toolchains, or structured processes. Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and teamwork abilities. Professional level of English. Nice to Have Experience with system integration or V&V in aeronautical or industrial projects. Exposure to monitoring systems, connectivity platforms, or digital maintenance environments. Knowledge of structured engineering methods and certification-related practices.
