Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management Business Analyst., We are seeking a senior-level SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management Business Analyst to act as the primary strategic liaison between our Warehouse & Shipping operations and the IT technical teams. In this role, you will lead the definition, optimization, and mapping of end-to-end supply chain processes. You will translate complex warehouse requirements into robust SAP WM/EWM solutions, ensuring that our high-volume distribution centers operate at peak efficiency using industry best practices., * Business Blueprinting & Facilitation: Lead business blueprinting workshops with cross-functional supply chain, logistics, and plant teams to capture strategic operational goals.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Conduct detailed As-Is and To-Be discussions, designing and mapping complex business process flows for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.
- Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from the Warehouse & Shipping departments. Provide structured, scalable solutions based on modern industrial best practices.
- Functional Design & Solutioning: Own the overall functional design for SAP WM, SAP S/4HANA EWM, and their integrations with other modules. Author comprehensive Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for custom developments, interfaces, and reports.
- Configuration & Validation: Perform hands-on functional configuration in SAP WM/EWM. Partner closely with ABAP developers to design, test, and validate custom BAdIs, Post Processing Frameworks (PPF), and custom objects.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business processes impacting WM/EWM. Collaborate with cross-functional analysts across Material Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales & Distribution (SD).
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop, orchestrate, and execute end-to-end functional and user acceptance test (UAT) plans for all SAP WM and EWM configurations and custom enhancements.
- Change Management & Training: Create user-friendly documentation and deliver targeted training sessions to super-users and operations teams for newly implemented warehouse processes.
- Agile Adaptation: Demonstrate high adaptability in managing changing project timelines, business priorities, and implementation sequences.
Requirements
Experience & Domain Expertise
- 10+ years of experience working with SAP logistics solutions in a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations for SAP WM and 2 end-to-end implementations for SAP EWM.
- Extensive experience working within high-volume distribution centers handling highly diversified product lines (including batch-managed and serialized products).
- Strong functional knowledge of automated warehouse software integration, specifically with Kardex software.
Deep SAP WM & EWM Functional Knowledge:
- Core EWM Capabilities: Advanced expertise in Cartonization, Quality Inspection Engine (QIE), Quantity Classifications, and Warehouse Order Optimization rules.
- Master Data & Structure: Comprehensive understanding of Warehouse master data and organizational structure setups across both WM and EWM environments.
- Inbound & Outbound Processes: Expert knowledge of complex storage types, put-away/stock removal strategies, palletization, consolidation, deconsolidation, and deep exposure to Handling Unit Management (HUM).
- Internal Operations: Mastery over replenishment models (within/between warehouses, Kanban replenishment), cycle counting, physical inventory, and warehouse reorganization/slotting.
- System Customization & Frameworks: Thorough working experience with Post Processing Framework (PPF) definitions, wave management, and customizing WM movement types.
Technical Liaison & Integration Skills:
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and debug ABAP code, and a solid understanding of custom objects, BAdIs, Function Modules, and ALV Reports to effectively collaborate with developers.
- Data & Interfaces: Hands-on experience with data migration tools (LSMW), batch job monitoring/creation, IDoc monitoring, and daily Queue Management resolution between S/4HANA and EWM.
- Mobility & Hardware: Practical understanding of ITSmobile, SAP Fiori, RF devices, RF queue management configuration, as well as label printing and hardware scanners (RFID, 2D, and Linear).
- Cross-Module Integration: Clean understanding of touchpoints across LE, WM, MM, SD, PP, QM, FI, and CO modules.
- Security & Compliance: Experience partnering with security and compliance teams to design SAP roles and authorizations.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Transportation Management System (TMS) integrations.
