SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
The Report Developer will be responsible for the following
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Analyze and resolve issues related to reports and data
- Analyze, design and develop reports and extracts
- Manage vendors
- Project management
- Provide reporting maintenance and support reporting tasks related to routine system upgrades
- Provide technical support and coordination for clinical and operational leaders
- Support end user reporting training as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Healthcare or a Technical field required
EPIC certification a plus
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Necessary skills for successful report developers include
- Chronicles - Basic understanding
- Crystal Reports - Mastery
- EPIC - Basic (certified) within (6) months
- KBSQL and/or SQL - Proficiency
- Microsoft Access, Excel and Word - Proficiency
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Project - Basic understanding
- Minimum (3) years experience in a report developer role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Windows - Proficiency
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
Exposure Class I or II, service specific - various, depending on service - limited exposure to situations which could cause serious illness or injury.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Light work: standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods of time. Light lifting regularly, moderate lifting occasionally
