Job description

The .NET Software Developer is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, development, and support of .NET business applications across both front-end and back-end layers. This role will design, build, and maintain internal web applications that support key supply chain and operational business processes. The .NET Software Developer will also own system integrations between enterprise platforms, manage relational databases, and collaborate closely with Business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, scalable software solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core) with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with front-end web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or jQuery).

Solid SQL skills with experience in relational database environments such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including query writing, stored procedures, and schema management.

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services for system integration; familiarity with integration patterns and data transformation concepts.

Familiarity with Windows Server hosting environments, including IIS, and experience with scripting using PowerShell or similar tools for automation and deployment tasks.

Experience working in Microsoft-centric development environments, including Visual Studio and the broader Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem.

Required Work Experience:

3-5 years of experience in software development, with hands-on experience in .NET application development and database-driven web applications

Education Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered
