Job description

  • Acquire land rights, easements, and permits for infrastructure and utility projects.
  • Negotiate with property owners and stakeholders to secure access and agreements.
  • Interpret and apply relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of contacts, agreements, and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, and project teams to ensure compliance.

Permitting Specialists

  • Prepare and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies.
  • Track and manage permit timelines to avoid project delays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet environmental and zoning requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of permits and correspondence.
  • Stay current on permitting regulations and communicate updates to teams.

Title Professionals

  • Conduct title research and analyze property ownership and encumbrances.
  • Identify and resolve title issues affecting land acquisition or development.
  • Prepare title reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with title companies and legal teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Support permitting and acquisition efforts with verified title data.

Document/Data Specialists

  • Organize and manage digital and physical project documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and version control across platforms.
  • Support compliance, reporting, and audit processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow data security protocols.
  • Assist teams with document retrieval, formatting, and archiving.

We are building a pipeline of qualified professionals for upcoming infrastructure and land services projects, including opportunities in Michigan and other regions. If you have experience in project management, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, title research, or document/data management, we invite you to submit your resume for future consideration.   • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the Right of Way or Real Estate industry.
