Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing computer systems and networks across our organization, the position is 30% tech and 70% customer service . Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and network infrastructure, enabling our teams to work efficiently and securely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service to end-users., * Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.

  • Manage computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures to safeguard organizational data.
  • Assist with IT infrastructure management by monitoring system performance and implementing necessary upgrades or repairs.
  • Support help desk operations by documenting incidents in ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira and providing timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT support processes and contribute to a secure and efficient technological environment.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in technical support with a strong understanding of computer management and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Proficiency in operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Solid knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security protocols.
  • Familiarity with help desk tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for incident tracking and resolution management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer components and peripherals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach to assist end-users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including operating systems, network configurations, and security measures such as firewall management.
