Job description

A growing professional services organisation is seeking an IT Operations & Support Analyst to join its internal technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys a blend of end-user support, systems administration, Microsoft 365 technologies, and emerging AI platforms.

In this role, you will support employees across the business, administer key corporate systems, assist with information security processes, and help maintain a stable and productive technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to end users across the business
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Support Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration activities
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively
  • Support AI platforms and related technologies, including user access and administration
  • Assist with security controls, compliance processes, and access reviews
  • Work with external technology and security partners when required
  • Produce reports and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Contribute to future IT improvements, projects, and technology roadmaps

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in IT Support, Technical Operations, or Help Desk environments
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Experience administering SharePoint and user access permissions
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and user-related technical issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
  • Python experience or literacy
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI technologies
  • Understanding of systems integrations and automation
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices
