Senior C++ Engineer

We're working with a leading quantitative trading firm that's hiring a Senior C++ Engineer to join a team responsible for the systems that connect real-time market information, trading decisions, and execution.

The team builds and maintains the core infrastructure used by traders and quantitative researchers throughout the trading lifecycle. Their work focuses on processing large volumes of real-time data, developing high-performance services, and building scalable platforms that allow trading teams to move quickly while maintaining reliability and performance.

This is a highly collaborative environment where engineers work closely with traders and quants to understand requirements, iterate quickly, and deliver solutions that have a direct impact on the business.

What you'll be doing

• Building and enhancing high-performance systems in modern C++
• Developing infrastructure that handles large volumes of real-time data
• Improving performance, scalability, and reliability across critical production system
• Working directly with traders and quantitative researchers to solve complex problem
• Taking ownership of projects from design through deployment

• 5+ years of professional C++ development experiene
• Strong systems programming fundamentals
• Experience working on performance-sensitive or distributed systems
• Strong understanding of concurrency, networking, or Linux-based systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and iterate quickly

Nice to have

• Experience in electronic trading, financial markets, or market data systems
• Low-latency engineering experience
• Cloud or Kubernetes exposure
• Experience working directly with business users in a fast-paced environment
