Job description

  • Steering and further development of management systems in the areas of sustainability and compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with and implementing legal and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting certifications in the area of ISO standards
  • Management of sustainability ratings (e.g., EcoVadis) and reporting processes
  • Planning and conducting external audits (e.g., customer audits) in coordination with relevant departments
  • Analysis and optimization of existing processes as well as maintenance of relevant documentation
  • Handling complaints, including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable measures

Requirements

  • Experience in sustainability, management systems, or compliance
  • Knowledge of relevant requirements (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, LkSG, EUDR)
  • Experience with sustainability ratings and tools (e.g., EcoVadis, Nawisio)
  • Knowledge of certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISCC PLUS)
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office as well as digital platforms and sustainability tools)
  • Analytical, structured approach to work and strong affinity for data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Self-motivated and responsible work ethic
  • Excellent written and spoken German
  • A degree in sustainability, environmental studies, economics, or a comparable qualification is a plus
