AI Agent Engineer - Azure AI Foundry | Python

Location: London (3 days per week onsite) Contract: Initial 12-month contract Rate: Up to £800/day (Inside IR35)

A leading global financial institution is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to develop an intelligent automation solution focused on Market Risk QA and testing processes.

Key Requirements

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and LLM integration.
• Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry expertise.
• Experience building scalable AI solutions within enterprise environments.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, auditability, and compliance controls.
• Ability to work within regulated environments and deliver robust technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents to automate Market Risk testing workflows.
• Integrate with existing systems and MCP infrastructure.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions on Azure.
• Collaborate with Risk, QA, Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Ensure governance, auditability, and operational controls are Embedded throughout the solution life cycle.
