Job description

We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a complex public sector infrastructure programme. Working directly with infrastructure users, you'll own the product backlog end-to-end - from Discovery through Alpha, Beta, and into Live service delivery - ensuring iterative, user-centred outcomes., * Work directly with infrastructure users to scope, refine and validate technical requirements ahead of iterative delivery

  • Co-ordinate Discovery activities and manage progression through Alpha, Beta and into Live service
  • Own and maintain the team product backlog in alignment with programme plans, monthly objectives and platform priorities
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, policy teams and external partners
  • Lead cross-functional Agile teams including Delivery Managers, Tech Leads, BAs and Engineers
  • Drive continuous improvement through user feedback analysis and QA oversight
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure product performance and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven Product Owner experience in a complex, regulated public sector environment
  • Experience working with AWS platform infrastructure as product propositions
  • Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Kanban and GDS frameworks
  • Confident stakeholder management and prioritisation decision-making
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of government digital standards and policies
