Job description

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cloud-native infrastructure solutions across a complex enterprise environment. You will be responsible for defining cloud architecture, supporting migration strategies, and enabling modern data and AI capabilities while ensuring solutions are secure, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives., * Define and deliver enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy across Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures supporting business transformation initiatives.
  • Lead migration and modernisation programmes involving Legacy platforms, applications, and data services.
  • Support infrastructure automation and operational excellence using Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, and DevOps practices.
  • Design and support cloud-based data platforms leveraging Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and advanced analytics capabilities including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, RAG architectures, and Microsoft AI services.
  • Support multi-cloud and cloud-native platform initiatives including containerisation and Kubernetes-based services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, roadmap priorities, and technical solutions.
  • Operate within Agile and DevOps environments using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Requirements

  • Strong experience designing and delivering Azure infrastructure solutions across both IaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Proven background in cloud architecture, migration, and enterprise infrastructure transformation programmes.
  • Experience with Azure administration, security, governance, and operational best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and cloud-based data architectures.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong Scripting capability using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and container-based platforms.
  • Exposure to Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric, or AI-enabled cloud solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills within enterprise environments.
