SAP Finance Lead - SAP FICO (S/4HANA, IFRS15, RAR)

We are seeking an elite, senior-level SAP Finance Lead to spearhead complex financial transformation workflows on-site in Stamford, CT. Operating as the primary functional expert and solution architect within an S/4HANA landscape, the successful candidate will own the design, validation, and deployment of compliance-driven finance solutions. This role demands deep specialization in IFRS15 compliance and SAP RAR parameters to safely scale global revenue accounting, contract management, and material ledger architectures for a flagship enterprise., * Lead the structural configuration and deployment of SAP FICO solutions in an S/4HANA environment, maintaining functional ownership over revenue recognition (IFRS15) and SAP RAR modules.

• Partner closely with global business and technical stakeholders to gather complex accounting requirements and translate them into scalable, auditable system workflows and detailed functional specifications.
• Oversee cross-module data integration points across SAP ecosystems to safeguard the transactional flow of revenue streams, profit centers, internal orders, and material movements.
• Design, execute, and validate comprehensive system testing matrices (SIT/UAT) for financial reporting modifications, minimizing risk to upstream and downstream operations prior to production deployment.
• Deliver high-tier functional support and technical direction during business-critical month-end and year-end financial closing cycles, particularly concerning actual costing variances and revenue tracking.
• Facilitate strategic stakeholder alignment workshops, generate compliance-mapped technical blueprints, and mentor core business users to maximize SAP functional adoption.

Primary (Must-Have):

• Deep functional expertise in SAP FICO within an S/4HANA ecosystem
• Advanced subject matter expertise in IFRS15 regulatory standards (Revenue Recognition)
• Hands-on implementation and support experience with SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting)
• Proven capability in end-to-end SAP Finance solution design, configuration, and structural delivery
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of core Controlling layers (Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Material Ledger)

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Experience managing complex ledger configurations, actual costing, and multi-level price determination within Material Ledger
• Direct experience executing SAP Finance initiatives within highly regulated Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environments
• Familiarity with cross-functional integration boundaries linking SAP FICO to MM, PP, and SD modules
• Strong background in managing technical documentation, configuration rationales, and audit-readiness protocols
