Job description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Lead Information Services Developer to drive the design, development, and support of enterprise applications. This senior-level role will lead development teams, ensure alignment across projects, and oversee application lifecycle activities including incident, problem, request, and change management., Leadership & Team Coordination
- Lead and coordinate development team activities within the assigned focus area
- Provide oversight for application support processes (incident, problem, request, and change management)
- Facilitate collaboration across application teams and cross-functional workgroups
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure consistent delivery and technical excellence
Application Development & Delivery
- Lead system design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities
- Support all implementation phases including build, go-live, and optimization
- Collaborate with development and business teams to design and maintain application solutions aligned with enterprise standards
- Provide input into architecture strategies and system enhancements
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Act as a primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate project timelines, risks, and deliverables effectively
- Facilitate cross-application discussions and decision-making sessions
Technology & Process Management
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of enterprise applications, tools, and technologies
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, governance standards, and best practices
- Lead evaluation of new systems and solutions with respect to cost, scalability, and compatibility
- Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Lead development of metrics, reporting frameworks, and performance monitoring processes
- Promote innovation and efficiency through automation and modern development practices
- Support execution of organizational IT strategy and transformation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of software development experience in corporate environments
- Strong experience in application design, development, and deployment
- Hands-on expertise with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Deep understanding of enterprise systems, integration, and architecture
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, * 2+ years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
- Experience with enterprise platforms and application ecosystems (e.g., Epic or similar)
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (Java, .NET/C#)
- Experience with integration middleware, RPA, and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Linux, Unix, Apache, IIS, and Azure DevOps / TFS, * A hands-on technical leader with a strong ownership mindset
- Ability to lead teams while delivering high-quality scalable solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems
