- Implement design, procurement, and production of reaction control fluid subsystems and associated components
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure your systems work together and meet requirements, resolving issues with calculated risk
- Drive design for manufacturability. Implement upgrades for flight hardware identified through root cause analysis, manufacturing, testing, flight, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to develop work instructions and disposition hardware nonconformances
- Build and manage project plans including cost, schedule and risk management to ensure timely delivery

Requirements
We are looking for a proven leader with experience in flight vehicle fluid systems to coordinate design and support production of reaction control systems for a launch vehicle upper stage. You will bring technical depth to a high-rate production environment, contributing to system integration, test program management and mission support, and tackling complex challenges involving high-pressure, cryogenic, and highly stressed hardware.

Passion for our mission and vision is required!, * Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
- Proven experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle fluid system component design, analysis, or test
- Solid understanding of propulsion and fluid components such as valves, nozzles, and fittings
- Knowledge of fabrication, integration processes and quality control relative to tubes/piping and machined components
- Design experience using 3D CAD (Creo preferred), 2D and 3D drawings per ASME Y14.5 GD&T along with detailed analysis reports using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

- Working knowledge of hypergolic propulsion, hydrogen and oxygen systems
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics or thermal analysis software packages
