Job description
We're looking for an experienced Shopify Web Developer to build, customize, and maintain high-quality storefronts. This is a hands-on build role for someone who can own front-to-back development of a polished, high-converting e-commerce site and help bring new products and campaigns to market.
What you'll do
- Build and customize Shopify storefronts, including themes, templates, and custom Liquid code
- Develop and optimize responsive front-end interfaces for a seamless experience across devices
- Integrate third-party apps and APIs
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve site performance, speed, and reliability
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to launch campaigns and support product releases
Requirements
- Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
- Back-end web development experience, ideally with Shopify Liquid and related technologies
- Solid web development fundamentals: performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility best practices
- Hands-on experience building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify themes and integrating apps and APIs
- Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred including familiarity with custom checkout, Shopify Functions/Scripts, and high-volume storefronts
- Comfort translating UX/UI mockups into functional, high-quality web experiences
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in ecommerce, DTC, or creative/entertainment brands is a plus
