Job description
- Manage roadmaps, track progress, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across multiple engineering and product teams, leveraging knowledge of networking and cloud architectures.
- Analyze and improve program management workflows, identify and eliminate issues, and implement best practices to enhance team productivity and velocity.
- Facilitate clear and timely technical decision-making by bringing together the right engineering stakeholders, defining clear accountabilities, and ensuring alignment across engineering, product management, and other functional groups, grounded in a solid understanding of technical trade-offs.
- Contribute to programs focused on enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance with knowledge of distributed systems, network protocols, and infrastructure design to ensure services meet the demanding needs of global enterprises.
- Influence product and engineering roadmaps and align efforts with customer needs to define the future direction of hybrid networking at Google Cloud.

Requirements
Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience driving technical programs within networking or cloud infrastructure environments.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in understanding customer needs and advocating for technical solutions.
- Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
- Experience with network capacity planning.
- Knowledge in hybrid networking technologies such as VPN, interconnect, SD-WAN, and network security.
