Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in the Wealth / Asset Management domain, specializing in SQL Server and Snowflake-based data platforms. The role involves designing, modernizing, and governing enterprise data architectures that support front-to-back wealth management processes, including client onboarding, portfolio management, regulatory reporting, and analytics., Data Architecture & Design

  • Define and implement enterprise data architecture for wealth management platforms

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data models for transactional and analytical workloads.

  • Lead cloud data platform architecture using Snowflake and hybrid/on-premise SQL Server environments.

Data Engineering & Platform Modernization

  • Architect and oversee migration from legacy data platforms to Snowflake.

  • Drive data integration strategies across CRM, portfolio systems, market data providers, and regulatory systems.

  • Wealth Management Domain Alignment

Align data models with key domain concepts:

  • Client onboarding (KYC/AML)

  • Portfolio and asset management

  • Trading and execution data

  • Regulatory reporting (e.g., MiFID II, CRS, FATCA)

Support business use cases such as:

  • Client reporting and analytics

  • Risk and performance analysis

  • Pricing and valuation

  • Compliance monitoring

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Define and enforce data governance, lineage, and cataloging frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data privacy requirements.

  • Implement data quality controls, auditing, and reconciliation mechanisms.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS)

  • Snowflake (data modeling, Snowpipe, streams, tasks)

Solid expertise in:

  • Data warehousing (Kimball, Data Vault, etc.)

  • ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration tools

  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Experience with:

  • Data integration (APIs, messaging, batch/real-time pipelines)

  • BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Knowledge of:

  • Data governance frameworks and metadata management tools

  • Domain Expertise

  • Proven experience in Wealth Management / Asset Management / Private Banking.

Understanding of:

  • Investment lifecycle and portfolio structures

  • Financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives)

  • Regulatory and compliance reporting

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders

  • Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence decisions

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset, data architecture,sql,snowflake,wealth management
