Airbus Helicopters Information Management is looking for a dynamic, skilled and motivated NETWORK Project Manager based in Marignane (France) who is ready to deliver Key and strategic Transversal projects on Network/Connectivity perimeter
If you have a strong expertise in Project Management, good background in network and IT, High leadership, organizational and communication skills you could join the Connectivity PSL (Product & Service Line), an international team (France, Germany, Spain) in charge of designing, building and operating the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Internet Access, Load Balancing) of Airbus helicopters
As project manager within Connectivity department you will be accountable for Framing, Planning, Executing, Testing, Controlling Key Transversal Project for the IM network department related to LAN, WAN, Network security, WIFI, 5G projects in the perimeter of Mother company (France&Germany) and our subsidiaries all around the world (South America, Asia Pacific, …)
As part of your first missions you could work on the network security improvement of our subsidiaries and on the project of creation of a 3rd Datacenter for Airbus Helicopters
You will also tackle projects related to Network Datacenter Obsolescence, Network Campus obsolescence, introduction of new network technology (5G), Network security deployment for AH subsidiaries all around the world, WAN migration all around the world and many others
Your main missions will be:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within our Connectivity department. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of programs/projects on time and within budget. Your role will involve preparing Quality Gates, coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
You will:

Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables

Create detailed project schedules, timelines, and budgets, ensuring proper allocation of resources

Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network solution architects, LAN team WAN team, Network security team, Hosting and Cloud teams,...)

Facilitate effective communication and information sharing among team members and stakeholders
-
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and identify potential risks and issues
-
Conduct regular project meetings, providing status updates and ensuring alignment with project objectives
-
Proactively identify and address project dependencies and bottlenecks
-
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment

Ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards
-
Conduct post-project analysis and create recommendations for process improvements
Requirements
Proven experience of 3 to 5 years as a project manager, with a track record of successfully managing projects

Background in network technologies (LAN (ACI, SDA), WAN, Network Security (Firewall, proxy)

Background in Infrastructure Technology

Understanding of the complexity of large companies IS systems

Knowledge of PMI methodology (PMP Certification or equivalent would be a strong plus)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
-
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with matrix teams

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Delivery oriented, appetite to tackle challenges, to deal with high workload and to manage pressure.

Ability to manage external suppliers and deal with complex external contracts

Negotiation level in English & French. German Knowledge and/or spanish would be a plus

Ability to evolve in a multicultural environment.

Ability to travel based on project needs to Paris, Toulouse and Donauwörth
Language skills:
- Fluency in english is essential
- Negotiation level in French.
