Job description

The Product Analytics team turns a multitude of data into insights that can be used to build better digital products. Like us, you thrive in a complex data environment. We like getting our hands into the data, focusing on insights which drive actions and product improvements. We extract data and make sense of it using SQL, Tableau and Adobe Analytics and quantitative techniques.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead the Product Analytics scope on one or more of our fast-growing, innovative, world-leading products such as LeapSpace.

You will be part of a large analytics team (30+ analysts) located in London and Amsterdam, working with product teams and other stakeholders across US, UK and the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the right metrics. Use your deep knowledge of user behavior to define performance metrics with your stakeholders that align with user success and satisfaction. For new features apply customer centricity and business knowledge to identify and define the key metrics to evaluate product success.

  • Measure performance. Set up dashboards and reports to track performance. Build models to understand product performance and user behavior - ultimately quantifying and communicating these insights through product metrics. Review user experience to ensure that the appropriate tagging and tracking is in place to improve our products.

  • Support strategic decisions and roadmaps. Innovate and discover new insights by diving deeply into the data, combining various sources (including database and web-analytics data sources) from across the business, to support decisions and resolve strategic questions. Planning and prioritization with Product Managers. Helping them to understand which features could be built, quantify the user and business impact, and communicate these recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Advocate Data-driven culture. Communicate insights and information effectively and engagingly, through presentations, reporting and dashboards to all levels of the organization. Advocate for a data-driven culture and help your stakeholders in how to interpret results. Empowering and enabling stakeholders across the business to embrace the power of data and drive data informed decision making.

Requirements

  • Product and Data Analysis: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Product and Data Analytics. Whether you're an emerging senior or seasoned expert - we'd love to hear from you!

  • Product Analytics Metrics and Business Performance: Solid understanding of key product metrics and how these translate into business outcomes

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL and/or Python; familiar with tools like DBeaver, Databricks, and Snowflake.

  • Data visualisation: Experience creating compelling and actionable story telling with data through tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Powerpoint, or similar platforms

  • Growth Mindset: Enthusiasm for learning, you're not afraid to ask questions, and have a positive, humble attitude.

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, with exposure to group projects.

  • Communication: Fluent in English with strong presentation skills and stakeholder engagement.

  • Cultural Awareness: Comfortable working in diverse teams and open to different perspectives.
