You will work on scalable systems, customer-facing applications, and internal tooling that supports our mission: giving users full control over their digital privacy.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work across both backend and frontend systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our platform. You will collaborate closely with operations and support teams to increase stability, reduce support load, and improve the overall user experience.
Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and improving our backend and frontend architecture (Ruby on Rails, Turbo, Stimulus)
- Building internal tools to improve support and operations efficiency
- Contributing to customer-facing applications such as webmail and control panels
- Working with support teams to identify and resolve bugs and usability issues
- Collaborating on infrastructure and platform innovation projects
- Improving automation and system reliability
- Keeping our issue tracker (YouTrack) structured and up to date
You will work with technologies including Ruby on Rails 7, PostgreSQL, Redis, PHP, JavaScript, TailwindCSS, Kubernetes, and email-related systems such as Postfix, Dovecot, and Rspamd.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Usability?, We are looking for an experienced and hands-on developer who enjoys working in complex systems and values collaboration. You recognize yourself in the following:
- HBO/WO working and thinking level (or equivalent experience)
- More than 6 years of software development experience
- Experience in a startup or fast-moving tech environment
- Test-driven development mindset
- A proactive "never settle" attitude
- Strong collaboration skills with ops and support teams
Knowledge of or experience with:
- Ruby on Rails (7), Turbo, Stimulus
- Roundcube
- PostgreSQL
- HTML, Slim templating
- TailwindCSS
- JavaScript
- Redis
- PHP
- Kubernetes (or willingness to learn)
- Email systems such as Postfix, Dovecot, Rspamd, and Sieve
- Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana (plus)
- Nextcloud (plus)
