Job description
As a Director in OIDS, you will guide complex TMT transformations, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and driving strategic programmes that deliver measurable outcomes. Your leadership will help shape our practice and set the standard for excellence within Deloitte.
Your role will include:
Cultivating and expanding senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives on critical strategic and transformation agendas across operating model, service delivery, cost transformation and technology-enabled change within TMT.
Overseeing end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex transformation programmes, ensuring strategic alignment, robust governance, successful execution, and the realisation of tangible business value.
Mobilising and leading diverse teams across business design, process engineering, data and technology within Deloitte and alongside client teams delivering programmes safely, at pace and at scale.
Shaping, inspiring and developing multi-capability and multi-geography teams, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture, with strong quality and risk management disciplines.
Defining overall programme strategy, transformation roadmap, target operating model approach, governance frameworks and delivery plans aligned to client objectives and Deloitte methodologies.
Leading commercial stewardship: overseeing programme budgets, financial forecasting, resourcing and commercial management to deliver profitability, cost-effectiveness and value for clients and Deloitte.
Proactively managing complex stakeholder landscapes, including client functions, third parties and internal Deloitte teams, driving alignment, decision-making and resolution of critical issues and dependencies.
Ensuring the highest quality of deliverables and adherence to programme standards, embedding continuous improvement across workstreams and sustaining delivery excellence.
Driving growth of the OIDS TMT practice through proactive opportunity identification, solution shaping and leadership of bids, proposals and pitches.
Acting as a visible leader within Deloitte: mentoring and developing talent, contributing to proposition and thought leadership, and helping shape the strategic direction of OIDS TMT.
Requirements
Proven Director-level experience advising and leading complex transformation programmes across media, telecoms and/or technology organisations, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes across operating model improvement, cost reduction, customer experience, operational efficiency and technology-enabled change.
Deep knowledge of the operational dynamics and industry trends across TMT, with the ability to translate market insight into practical transformation strategies, executable operating models and commercially viable solutions.
Proven ability to use AI, automation, data and digital technologies to accelerate operational processes, optimise ways of working and create measurable client value.
Demonstrable success building trusted relationships with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders, acting as a credible advisor and influencing strategic decisions.
Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of generating, shaping and developing new business opportunities, including leading proposals, bids and pitches.
Experience contributing to the growth of a management or leadership team, including proposition development, go-to-market activity, thought leadership, coaching and talent development.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues, create compelling executive-level narratives and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Strong expertise in one or more TMT domains, including:
Telecoms:
ServCo / NetCo and wholesale ecosystem optimisation
Fibre, 5G, cloud-native and autonomous network transformation
BSS / OSS transformation and digital service enablement
AI monetisation, automation and intelligent operations
B2B enterprise solution delivery and customer experience transformation
