Sizewell C will create a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for at least 60 years. It will be built next to Sizewell B which began operating in 1995 and has so far avoided more than 76 million tonnes of carbon emissions.
This role will be hybrid with 2 days at our Bristol Aztec West office. What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Integration, you will be in charge of the coordination and management of IT activities for MEH Alliance on Sizewell C.

Within a matrix organisation, you will lead a Multi Disciplinary team including MEHA IT team (IT manager and business architects), MEHA Programmes SMEs (Piping, Electrical and HVAC) and planners to develop the IT solutions.

You will act as a representative to SZC Digital team and ensure full alignment with IT solutions developed and implemented by SZC

You will lead the production of functional requirements in close interaction with disciplines.

You will define the plan to provide MEH Alliance with the relevant IT solutions throughout the lifecycle of the project.

You will manage and assign relevant actions in accordance with your execution plan and report progress.

Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the IT solutions and for the production of the execution plan.

Proactively interact with relevant stakeholders, to capture functional requirements and to ensure consistency with SZC developments.

Accountable for providing effective people leadership, including managing, motivating, and developing the team to perform at a high standard and deliver shared objectives
Requirements

Track record of delivering IT projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment, ideally within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment.

Demonstrate success in managing / developing: o Integrated project plans for complex construction sites o Engineering design, contract and field execution strategies for project delivery o Multi-discipline EPCM projects

Experience of successfully engaging groups of stakeholders

Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.

Proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools

Good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Demonstrate experience of managing successful and engaged teams

Able to obtain security clearance.
