Job description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer who can work collaboratively with a Global Team for new technology deployments, Lifecycle refreshes while also supporting steady-state operations for LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments across North America Sites. This role bridges engineering and run-state support, ensuring new initiatives are delivered on time and existing infrastructure stays highly available, secure, and performant. The position requires strong overlap with both North America and global (EMEA/AP) teams. Ideally, this role is based on-site (hybrid) in Wilmington, DE. Other locations on the East Coast may also be considered., * Collaborate within the team and coordinate with vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams to deliver Network projects & support other Infrastructure & Applications Projects.
- Support network upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.
- Own steady-state operations for LAN (switching, VLANs, OSPF/BGP/EIGRP), WLAN (controllers, APs, 802.1X, RF tuning), and SD-WAN fabric
- Knowledge Must Have Palo Alto Prisma SDWAN, CISCO Network Gear,
- Knowledge Good to Have: Infoblox, Logic Monitor, Fortinet products & solutions, Palo Alto Prisma VPN & Firewalls
- Provide L2/L3 incident and problem resolution; participate in calls as required
- Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning (SNMP, NetFlow, monitoring tools).
- Collaborate with Global team to maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs.

- 8+ years of enterprise networking experience spanning both project engineering and operations .
- Strong expertise in LAN switching and routing (Cisco /Fortinet).
- Proven enterprise-scale WLAN deployment and support experience.
- Hands-on SD-WAN design and operations experience.
- Knowledge of network security fundamentals.
- Certifications: CCNP (or CCNA with strong experience); SD-WAN / wireless vendor certs preferred., * Experience with Network migrations during mergers & spin offs is extremely useful.
- Enterprise Voice / Unified Communications knowledge - Microsoft Teams Voice / Direct Routing, or equivalent UC platforms.
- Experience with voice gateways, SBCs
- Network automation skills (Python, Ansible) and IaC.
