Job description
Client is seeking eight (8) talented Senior Security Systems Engineers to join the high-priority Project Nova (Mythos) initiative. In this role, you will focus on hardening the build and runtime environments for our enterprise platforms, specifically mitigating external threat vectors., * Platform Hardening: Secure and harden build pipelines and runtime environments for enterprise platforms exposed to external threat vectors.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Proactively identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across cloud data platforms.
- Security Automation: Drive the success of the Security Initiative (SI) by automating repetitive compliance, patching, and remediation workflows to eliminate manual overhead.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with centralized engineering teams to integrate security tooling seamlessly into existing CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements

Experience in Systems Engineering, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps. Security Tooling: Hands-on, deep expertise with modern application security and vulnerability scanning tools, specifically Snyk and echoAI. Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities within cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Automation Engineering: Strong scripting/coding skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go) used specifically to automate security controls and remediation. Vulnerability Management: Solid understanding of threat vectors, OWASP top 10, container security, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scanning., * Experience: 6 to 10 years of dedicated experience in Systems Engineering, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps.
