Requirements

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to view and understand complex systems, including their interactions and dependencies.
  • Modeling Expertise: Proficient in using SysML or other modeling languages and tools to create and analyze system models.
  • Requirements Management: Skilled in managing and tracing requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to modeling processes and system engineering practices., * 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • Knowledge or interest in the following:
  • SysML and UML
  • MATLAB
  • Any Programming Language
  • Linux
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles
  • Experience with Cameo System Modeler or other comparable tools
  • Experience with any Requirements Management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc..)
  • Must be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Clearance: Secret clearance to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
