Job description
The System Administrator is responsible for overseeing the planning, and implementation of the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and operations. This position will ensure the effective use of technology to support the organization's goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include managing data security and compliance, leading IT projects and initiatives, ensuring server security and maintenance, developing Cybersecurity processes, and collaborating with other departments to identify and address business needs., * Hands-on leadership of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring successful and timely completion.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address business needs and provide technology solutions.
- Manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems including complex upgrades.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends, make recommendations for implementation.
- Ensure effective communication of IT issues and solutions to management.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology and Systems
- Proven track record of successfully leading and completing IT projects
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies (e.g. cloud computing, data analytics, upgrades, software implementations, cybersecurity).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of business systems; CRM, Microsoft SQL Server, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows 2022 Server, Windows 2008-Windows 11, Microsoft Exchange Server system administration, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and VOIP.
- Experience with VMware infrastructure, design, virtual machines, security, and maintenance.
- Experience with maintaining Microsoft Servers, updates, VMware host patching, and disaster recovery processes.
- Extensive knowledge of networking, switching, firewalls, and architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of database design, maintenance, and security. (DBA helpful, but not required)
- Experience in ERP and Accounting systems implementation and upgrades.
- Experience installing/configuring servers, back-up servers, printers, and domain controllers.
- Coding knowledge desired
- Experience with Cloud services, storage, infrastructures, platforms, and SAAS.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge.
- High degree of discretion and judgment in confidential matters and information.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Ability to work hands-on at any level of IT tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, etc.) stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.

Schedule:
- This is a salary position with in-office hours Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work as need to accomplish goals.
- Must be able to be on call on weekends and holidays for urgent issues with IT systems.
Pay: DOE
