Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in the Hospital Industry. This is a 3-6+month contract and onsite everyday in Attleboro, MA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization., * Provide technical assistance and support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues across diverse operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to applications such as Microsoft Office, as well as operating system errors on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Manage computer hardware components, perform upgrades, installations, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPN setup, firewall management, and network security measures.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Strong knowledge of computer management practices including hardware troubleshooting, OS installation (Windows, macOS), and software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN technologies, firewall configuration, and network security.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and operating systems including Windows 10/11 and macOS.
