Job description

The Assistive Technology Support person is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This role ensures optimal functioning of technology resources, resolves user issues, and assists with system upgrades and installations for Client supports and adaptive technology equipment., * Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.

  • Install, configure, and maintain IPADS, Adaptive equipment, and other necessary tech/adaptive needs equipment.
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure security and performance.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new technology and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and implement solutions to optimize operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, repairs, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with Vice President on projects and system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security protocols.Support backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Valid Driver's License

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience with individuals with brain injuries, mental health issues or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time, prioritize tasks, take initiative, follow through and work cooperatively as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the program and participants.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, caring, and compassion.
  • Proven experience in technology supports or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, hardware, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with common office productivity software and computer and adaptive technology management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move adaptive equipment as needed.

Work Environment: Primarily The Resource Center and off site based on occasional travel between sites as required.
