Job description
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our web team. You'll make an impact by expanding C2PA usage within Adobe products from our ACA website to Photoshop. You will work in a collaborative environment with designers, product management and engineers while interacting with innovative product teams across Adobe. You'll be expected to build features, test and maintain new/existing code. The perfect candidate will have a keen eye for details, deep awareness of tradeoffs and very high standards for code quality and efficiency. What you'll do
- Work across flagship products and systems to ensure C2PA technology is used as broadly as possible
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of evolving technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Work on highly visible technology projects that are at the forefront of the industry, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital media and bringing trust and transparency to the ecosystem.
- Actively participate in architectural discussions, proposing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and driving consensus among our team.
- Promote engineering best practices to maintain a high standard of code quality and software craftsmanship.
- Thrive in a high-velocity team environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering results with speed and precision.
Requirements
- 5-6 years as a web-focused software engineer, with proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Extensive experience with modern frameworks for building and testing websites, such as React, Svelte, Playwright, Puppeteer, etc
- Experience building highly maintainable and commented production applications
- Fluency with Git and GitHub
- Reverence for great documentation and excitement to produce it where sensible
- An appreciation for well-tested code and pragmatism about when and where to build test infrastructure
- Passion for solving problems of any scope elegantly every day!
- Ability to embrace constructive criticism and skill to share constructive criticism with your colleagues
- Proven drive to improve your skills and knowledge
Plusses
- Direct experience with Svelte, Sveltekit, Tailwind, Percy
- Experience developing browser plug-ins / extensions
- Experience with Wordpress, Drupal, and other common frameworks/systems
- A Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, CDNs and similar technologies that go into deploying web products

Benefits & conditions
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600 In New York, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $190,200 - $275,400
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
