As a Senior Epic Beaker Application Analyst, you will support a large-scale laboratory transformation initiative by providing senior-level expertise in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, validation, and implementation of Epic Beaker and related laboratory systems. There are six (6) openings across three workstreams: two (2) Epic Beaker Build Analysts, responsible for high-volume Epic Beaker AP/CP build, configuration, optimization, and workflow design; one (1) Epic Beaker Interface / Data Innovations Analyst, focused on laboratory instrument interfaces, middleware integration, and Data Innovations (DI) rule development and maintenance; and three (3) Epic Beaker Readiness / Flex Analysts, responsible for testing, validation, defect resolution, operational readiness, and Go-Live support across critical project workstreams., * Support the full system lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, validation, and implementation of Epic Beaker and related laboratory systems.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Configure, validate, and maintain Epic Beaker applications while ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Participate in Clinical Content Validation (CCV), Instrument and Non-Instrument Mapped Record Testing, defect resolution, and Go-Live readiness activities.
- Translate business and operational requirements into system design and configuration solutions.
- Lead and support build activities, workflow optimization, and design validation efforts.
- Support laboratory instrument interfaces, middleware integrations, and Data Innovations (DI) rule builds, as applicable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, application, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify solutions, and drive project deliverables.
- Address high-priority backlog items, change requests, and testing-related enhancements.
- Maintain project documentation, system specifications, testing results, and change management records.
- Provide flexible support across multiple workstreams based on project priorities and critical-path needs.
- Participate in off-hours, on-call, and Go-Live support activities as required.
Requirements
- Epic Beaker certification (AP and/or CP strongly preferred).
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in systems analysis, design, configuration, build, testing, validation, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of Epic Beaker workflows and laboratory information systems.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
- Experience supporting complex system integration and implementation projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including Clinical Content Validation (CCV), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and validation processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Data Innovations (DI) experience, including rule-build configuration.
- Laboratory instrument interface and middleware integration experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare and Epic implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Epic build environments, migration processes, and release management.
- Previous experience supporting Go-Live activities and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
The ideal candidate will have: Hands-on Epic Beaker (AP/CP) experience with strong expertise in system analysis, build, testing, validation, laboratory workflows, stakeholder collaboration, and healthcare system integrations, with Data Innovations (DI) experience preferred for interface-focused roles.

Pay Range*: $80 - $110 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
